Just Ask

My cousin was really tired. All she wanted to do was crash down on the bed and sleep until she felt tired of sleeping. She silently made her way to her bed inside their dorm.

But she had a problem. It was a pitch black. She could have used her cell phone as a flashlight to move towards her bed but the battery was dead so she couldn’t make it light up. And she didn’t want to wake her roommates by turning on the lights. So she crept her way in the darkness.

After a couple of hushed “Ouch!” from bumping into things littered around the dorm, she was startled when a light came from one of the beds. She stopped, rubbed her knee and look at her roommate who had turned on her lamp. She asked, “custom rubber stamps”

My cousin whispered, that she didn’t want to wake them up by turning on the lights.

“Well you could have asked,” her roommate replied.
